Jemma May

Jemma joined Malton Coachworks after previously working for an online classic car auction company. While she enjoyed being part of the classic car industry, working remotely could be quite isolating, so she was excited to find a role that allowed her to stay in the industry while becoming part of a friendly and sociable team.

Her interest in classic cars grew after marrying a classic car enthusiast. Through attending events and meeting people within the trade, she built lasting friendships that eventually led her to a career in the industry. Being surrounded by classic vehicles and like-minded people makes every day enjoyable.

Jemma’s dream car is the 1958 Plymouth Fury, famously known as “Christine,” inspired by her love of Stephen King’s novels. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, solving puzzles, and taking part in pub quizzes. She’s also a fan of Lego Botanicals and loves spending time at live music and comedy events.
