Join the
Coachworks
We are a growing team of craftspeople, engineers, and specialists united by a shared standard of care. If you take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

THE WORKPLACE
Where craft is taken seriously
Malton Coachworks is part of the Classic & Sportscar family, based in the heart of North Yorkshire. We work on some of the most significant vehicles in existence — and we do it to a standard that reflects them.
Our team spans over a century of combined experience across more than 100 marques. Whether you are an experienced specialist or at the beginning of your career, this is a place built on learning, doing, and taking genuine pride in the outcome.
01
Craft over shortcuts
Every project demands the same attention — whether a concours restoration or a routine service. We do not cut corners.
02
Knowledge that compounds
Working alongside specialists across bodyshop, engineering, trim, and mechanical means your skills grow faster here than most.
03
Built for the long term
We are expanding and promoting from within. Joining now means growing with us.
04
The Vehicles speak for themselves
You will work on pre-war machines, iconic British classics, and prestige marques most workshops never see.
SPECULATIVE APPLICATIONS
Don’t see the right role?
Our team is growing and we do not always advertise every position before filling it. If you have a skill set that belongs in a place like this, we want to know.
We welcome speculative applications from specialists in any of our disciplines — bodyshop, fabrication, paint, trim, mechanical engineering, parts, or administration. Tell us what you do and what standards you work to. That is all we need to start a conversation.
SEND YOUR CV & BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO
Include your discipline, experience level, and any relevant work you are proud of. Every application is read by a member of the team.

OUR HIRING PROCESS
From the first conversation to your first day
01
Application
Send your CV to the contact address on the role listing, or via our contact page. Include a brief note about yourself and why this role interests you.
02
Initial Call
A short conversation with a member of our team — not a formal interview. We want to understand your background and give you an honest picture of the role.
03
Site Visit
You come and see the facility, meet the people you would be working with, and — for technical roles — carry out a short practical assessment in your discipline.
04
Offer
If it feels right on both sides, we move quickly. You receive a written offer with clear terms within a few days of your visit.
A NOTE ON OUR STANDARDS
We are not the right place for everyone, and that is fine. We work to a level that the vehicles demand, and we expect the same commitment from everyone on the team. If you have the skill and the attitude, the rest follows.
OPEN PLACES
Current Roles
