Having grown up locally, in Scarborough, Bretts first job was an apprenticeship in a garage in Burniston where he gained his Motor Vehicle Qualification. Following his apprenticeship, Brett gained 10 years’ experience as an on site welder, developing his engineering skills.
Travelling has always been an interest of Bretts, most notably taking a year out travelling Australia working while he was there. In Aus, Brett worked for a coachbuilding company and also held various mechanical, and engineering jobs as he travelled.

Upon coming back to the UK, Brett moved back to Scarborough where he started work at a local coachbuilders as a mechanical technician. Following 4 years, Brett joined the workshop team here at Malton Coachworks where he is able to use his wide skillset to repair and maintain classic cars.
