James joined Malton Coachworks after making the decision to close his own body shop and return to working on classic cars. With years of experience in vehicle body repairs, he enjoys the craftsmanship involved in restoring older vehicles and believes classic cars have far more character than modern cars, which he feels are often too similar.

His dream car is the iconic Ferrari Testarossa Although he owns several vehicles, his everyday transport is a Volkswagen Caddy van, which is perfect for day to day use.

When he’s not at work, James enjoys spending quality time with his family and taking his dog out for walks.
