HOW WE WORK
Four principles
that shape every project
01
Craft over speed
A restoration moves at the pace it deserves. Cutting corners to save weeks is visible for years afterwards — so we do not.
02
Originality respected
We understand what makes each marque correct. Originality is retained wherever it can be, and every departure is a decision taken with you.
03
Transparent throughout
Photographic updates and a written project book document every stage. There are no surprises at the end of a restoration — only the result we agreed on.
04
Built to be driven
A restored car should reward the next decade of use, not sit in a corner of a museum. We build to a standard we are happy to stand behind on the road.
MODERN UPGRADES
Take your classic into the modern era
Classic cars have timeless style and character, but modern upgrades can make them more enjoyable, reliable, and practical to drive every day. Adding features like improved brakes, electronic ignition, modern suspension, upgraded lighting, or air conditioning helps preserve the spirit of the car while enhancing safety, comfort, and performance. These upgrades allow owners to experience the nostalgia of a classic vehicle without sacrificing the convenience and dependability expected from modern driving.
01 / DRIVETRAIN
5-Speed Gearbox
Overdrive fifth gear conversions reduce cruising revs and transform long-distance usability on cars originally built for shorter journeys.
02 / STEERING
Power Assisted Steering
Discreet PAS conversions reduce steering effort while retaining the feel and feedback that defines the classic driving experience.
03 / BRAKING
Braking & Suspension
Uprated brake callipers, discs, and suspension geometry improvements for greater safety and composure without changing the car’s fundamental character.
04 / EXHUAST
Stainless Exhaust
Bespoke stainless-steel exhaust systems built to the correct profile for your vehicle — lasting far longer than mild steel and often improving both sound and flow.
MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL
From vintage pre-war to modern prestige
Our team of experienced classic car technicians have worked across ten decades of motoring history, diagnosing both mechanical and electrical faults and remedying them by minor repair, full rewiring, or complete rebuilds.
Full engine strip, assessment, and rebuild to original specification — or improved tolerances where appropriate. We work across all engine types from vintage side-valves through to twin-cam and V-configuration units found in prestige vehicles.
Aging or degraded wiring is one of the most common causes of issues in classic cars. We carry out full loom replacement and bespoke electrical work, retaining the period-correct appearance of the interior wherever possible.

CARBURETTOR & IGNITION
SU, Weber & Dell’Orto specialists
Is your car not firing on all cylinders? Servicing carburettors and ignition systems is a regular and critical part of classic car maintenance. Setting them up correctly takes time, patience, and genuine expertise — and the difference to how a car drives is transformative.
We service, tune, and rebuild SU, Weber, Solex, Dell’Orto, and Zenith carburettors. Whether it is a single carb on a workhorse classic or a bank of twin-choke Webers on a sports car, we get them running in balance and set up correctly.
Ignition timing, point gap, and advance curve all have a significant effect on how a classic car runs. We inspect, repair, and set up your ignition system — and can advise on electronic conversion where appropriate.
